    This week was Safe Kids Week (May 30 – June 5). The focus of this year’s week was raising awareness of the lack of child booster seats in Canadian vehicles. Why is Safe Kids Canada concerned about not enough booster seats being used?

    Bike to Work Week
    It’s Bike to Work Week, everyone! Have you been riding to work? If you haven’t, you’re not alone. Many of us haven’t been jumping on two wheels to get us to our places of employment. Some of us simply can’t ride to work. The distance is too far, you can’t physically ride a bike, or there isn’t a decent bike route that can get you to work. Others don’t have a bike or just aren’t into biking. Then there are the people that don’t have any of these excuses but don’t bike because they see it as either dangerous or inconvenient. The grey skies are parting, letting through a golden warm start on a new and greener day. It’s called summer, and for many British Columbians, it’s been a long time coming this year. We Canadians go a little kooky when summer finally comes. We strip down to clothing standard for Southern Californians and find the nearest water source, even if th e temperature is only in the single digits.
