Last week marked another first for British Columbia. Monday, September 20th was when the toughest drinking and driving law in the country came into effect in this province we call home. With as little as a 0.08 blood alcohol level, you can now be charged for drinking and driving. While the specifics of the legislation are being debated by numerous sides, the reason behind this strict measure is something I hope most of us can agree upon. Driving impaired is wrong, and we need to do something about it.
